Nicely preserved silver offer dish, which was used to bring the holy flowers to the temple.
This dish has in the middle an ilustration of a socalled fable animal.This is a creation in the Hindu religion where two animals are combined. Here the creature has the head of a ganesha and the body of a cow. This depiction of a fable animal on an offerdish is very rare. |
